Desert Magic Yoga Mat

The 'Desert Magic' design I created, is based off one of my favorite places in the Utah desert. It is a part of Bears Ears National Monument, called Indian Creek - near Moab, Utah. People from all over the world come here to climb the sandstone canyon walls, disconnect from phones, and meet others who desire adventure and beauty. It is a place that holds a lot of special moments, and every time I go, I am completely in awe by the beauty, color, stillness & simplicity of this desert.

I used many colors to capture and imitate the various shades the canyons hold. Deep red, right before the sun rises, bright orange in the middle of the day, and soft purples as the sun is setting. I wanted the design to have a sense of groundedness to it. As you look at the design, stand on the mat, it should move you through the landscape, almost is if you are doing yoga in the desert.
